VOICE OF THE PEOPLE RALLY 2026
On Tuesday October 20th, at 12 noon to 2 PM, our collective voice as New Brunswickers is needed to rally at the NB Legislature in
Fredericton. Rain or shine.
This may be the last time for a public demonstration against these projects before winter sets in. By winter’s end, some, or all, of these projects could be approved. We must act now. Later is too late.
-
RIGS (Tantramar gas plant)
-
Lorneville Data Centre and gas plant
-
lifting of the Moratorium on Shale Gas
-
Sisson Mine
These projects will endanger our health, pollute our air and water, worsen climate change, and raise our electricity rates, while leading us away from the affordable future and transition to clean, inexpensive energy that we need and deserve.
If you care about ANY of these issues and want to make your voice heard, this is the time to act. Each of these projects will change the future of the province. So make up your signs for your issue of choice - homemade ones are the BEST - gather your friends and family and head to the Legislature on October 20th for 12 noon. Listen, share, and voice your concerns with allies, friends, and speakers. Your presence will send a strong message to the government.
Location:
The front lawn of the NB Legislature in Fredericton. Rain or Shine.
